AMILO village  was founded by Sh. Gangavishnu Dubey of Vatsa gotra around many years ago.  His family also ruled Handia tehsil (Gangapaar) of Allahabad along with some paragnas of modern-day Bhadohi district (jointly called Handia-Paraiya). AMILO got it's name for the first time, earlier it was called as 'imilo' because of tamarinds forest there .Later it changed form to 'AMILO'.  Since then many other villages carved out from it like Gaura, Jagdishpur, Majhuwan, Ghodedeeh etc owned by Sh. Ram Dubey at one point of time till his death in 1918.  It is situated in trans- yamuna region (Yamunapaar) of Prayagraj  but also has close proximity to River Ganges near Deeha, shows its unique geographical location of northern alluvial plain.
